Bucas Quilt 300g Stable Rug with Dermo-Care Lining - Navy/Silver
The Bucas Quilt 300g Stable Rug with Dermo-Care Lining - Navy/Silver is a premium heavyweight horse stable rug designed to provide warmth, comfort and versatile protection throughout the colder months. Featuring 300g insulation, a durable Oxford polyester outer and silky Dermo-Care lining, this quilted rug combines substantial winter warmth with coat-friendly comfort.
Part of the versatile Bucas Layer System, the Quilt can be used independently as a stable rug or as an additional insulating layer beneath a compatible Bucas turnout or stable rug. This practical design allows you to adapt your horse's rugging as temperatures change without needing to replace the outer rug.
The smooth Dermo-Care lining, also known as Silk-Feel (SF), helps wick moisture away from the horse's skin while maintaining a silky, smooth coat. Its gentle moisture-management properties make it particularly suitable for horses requiring comfortable everyday coverage and additional warmth.
The durable quilted construction provides dependable insulation, while the smart Navy/Silver colourway offers a classic equestrian finish.

Why Choose the Bucas Quilt 300g Dermo-Care Stable Rug?
The Bucas Quilt 300g combines substantial insulation with a silky, coat-friendly lining, making it an excellent choice for horses requiring additional warmth during colder stable conditions.
Its Dermo-Care lining provides a smooth surface against the coat while helping manage moisture, offering a comfortable alternative to traditional fleece-lined stable rugs.
The ability to use the Quilt independently or as part of the Bucas Layer System also provides valuable flexibility throughout autumn and winter.
Heavyweight 300g Winter Insulation
The Bucas Quilt features 300g insulation, providing a substantial layer of warmth for colder weather.
Its heavyweight filling is particularly suitable for winter stable use and horses requiring additional insulation.
The quilted construction helps maintain an even distribution of filling, supporting consistent coverage and comfort throughout wear.
Silky Dermo-Care Lining
The Bucas Dermo-Care lining, also referred to as Silk-Feel (SF), is designed to provide a smooth, silky surface against the horse's coat.
Its moisture-wicking properties help move moisture away from the skin, while the soft finish supports coat comfort and helps minimise friction.
Unlike the Bucas Stay-Dry fleece lining, which is designed for faster moisture removal, the Dermo-Care lining wicks moisture at a slower rate while helping maintain a beautifully smooth coat.
This makes it particularly appealing for horses requiring a comfortable, coat-friendly stable rug for regular use.
Durable Oxford Polyester Outer
The Bucas Quilt features a durable Oxford polyester outer fabric, designed for regular stable use.
Its quilted construction combines practical durability with a smart appearance, while the classic Navy/Silver finish complements the premium Bucas design.
Versatile Standalone Stable Rug
The Bucas Quilt 300g can be worn independently as a heavyweight stable rug, providing warmth and comfortable coverage when your horse is stabled.
Its substantial insulation makes it particularly useful during colder periods when additional warmth is required.
Part of the Bucas Layer System
The Bucas Layer System allows compatible rugs to be combined for additional insulation.
The Quilt can be used beneath suitable Bucas turnout or stable rugs, providing an extra layer of warmth without replacing the existing outer rug.
This versatile design makes it easier to adjust your horse's rugging as temperatures and individual requirements change.
Compatible Bucas Quilt Neck Available Separately
The Bucas Quilt can be paired with a compatible Bucas Quilt Neck for additional coverage.
The neck cover is available separately, allowing you to customise the rug according to your horse's needs.
Please note: The Quilt Neck is not included with this stable rug.
