The Premier Equine Air Cooled Super Lite Carbon Tech Eventing/Racing Boots – Front – Black are designed for riders and racehorse trainers who want superior lightweight protection without compromising on performance. Favoured by trainers for fast work and by eventers who prefer lighter legwear, these boots are an excellent choice for protecting the lower leg over solid cross-country fences while keeping the feel light and responsive.
Constructed from lightweight Carbon Tech microfibre leather, the outer is engineered to be stronger than traditional leather, while still stretching and moulding to the horse’s leg and retaining its original shape. This delivers a secure, close fit with excellent durability—and the boots are fully machine washable for easy care after training or competition.
The signature Air Cooled vent system is designed to support tendon comfort during fast work. As the horse gallops, air enters through the front vents, circulates through the boot, and exits via the side vents—creating continuous airflow over the tendons while in motion.
To reduce weight further, the front boots are less sculpted around the fetlock than other boots in the Air Cooled range. A strike guard running down the back of the boot helps protect tendons and ligaments from knocks and overreach injuries, while the lightweight EVA lining is water resistant to help prevent water retention so the boots stay lighter in wet conditions. Finished with a secure fit, these boots are sold in pairs and come with a complimentary reusable zip-fastened storage bag.
