The Premier Equine Air Cooled Original Eventing Boots – Hind – Black are Premier Equine’s longest-running, best‑selling cross country boots, built for serious protection in the XC phase while staying light, flexible, and comfortable. Designed to contour the hind leg without restricting movement, they support the natural action of galloping and jumping—ideal for fast work, schooling, and competition.

Constructed from an advanced combination of 2520D ballistic nylon and microfibre leather, these boots offer strength where it matters while remaining supple around key areas. The microfibre leather reinforces the fetlock area, straps, and strike-guard zones, and is engineered to stretch and mould to the leg while retaining its shape over time. It also provides a lighter alternative to traditional leather with excellent durability, and the boots are fully machine washable for easy care.

The signature Air Cooled ventilation system is designed to help manage tendon heat during work. As the horse gallops, air enters through the front vents, circulates through the boot, and exits via side vents—creating airflow across the tendons to help keep them cooler in action.

For hind-leg coverage and protection, the high-cut design helps defend against knocks and scrapes, and the strike guard runs along the front of the boot to protect from impact (including contact with fences). A water‑resistant EVA lining helps prevent the boot absorbing water, so it won’t become heavy on the leg in wet conditions or water crossings. Finished with a secure fit, these boots are sold in pairs and come with a complimentary reusable zip‑fastened storage bag.
