The Standard range features a fixed blade and can tidy 10–20 tails, depending on hair thickness. Unlike the Professional and Yellow Easi-Grip ranges, these blades cannot be re-sharpened or replaced, making them a convenient, disposable option.

Suitable for horses, ponies, dogs, and small animals, the Smart Tails Standard is available in three blade grades:

Fine Blades: Best for pre-tidied or fine hair; also ideal for finishing thick tails for a show-ready result.

Medium Blades: Suitable for average tails, medium to soft hair, and general mane and tail grooming.

Coarse Blades: Perfect for thick, full tails or untidy coats, processing large amounts of hair efficiently while leaving a tidy, natural finish.
