The Premier Equine Stretch Lycra Hood - Black is a practical, technically designed hood made from durable jersey stretch Lycra fabric that’s lightweight, comfortable and breathable. Designed to provide a close, comfortable fit, it covers the face, neck, mane, withers, chest and shoulders, helping keep the coat tidy and protected during grooming and show preparation.
The hood features a simple pull‑on design—slip it over the nose, pull back into position and secure with the adjustable belly strap. It’s ideal for event/show preparation, helping keep dust, forage and bedding out of the mane and coat, and can also help lay the hair flat—perfect for horses with frizzy manes. It’s also a great option for keeping plaits in place overnight in the stable or while travelling to a show.
The Stretch Lycra Hood can be used with any rug as it is self‑fixing, however it is not recommended for outdoor use.
