The upper section is made from a durable 600D ripstop waterproof and breathable fabric, providing reliable topline protection from rain. The lower section uses a lightweight 100% polyester interlocking mesh, delivering exceptional airflow while helping prevent heat build‑up. This clever construction allows hot air to disperse and cooler air to circulate, keeping your horse comfortable while still blocking biting insects.
To maximise coverage during turnout, ShowerTex includes a long integrated neck cover for added protection while grazing. The neck is lined over the mane with anti‑static breathable polyester, while the rug is also lined at the wither and front chest to reduce friction and help minimise rubbing.
Shaped and contoured over the wither and rump, with an extra‑high shoulder gusset for freedom of movement, the rug is designed to sit comfortably and securely.
