The Premier Equine Loose Ring Waterford Bit is designed for horses that tend to lean, grab hold, or set against the bit. Featuring a unique multi-link Waterford mouthpiece, made up of a series of smooth ball-shaped links, it offers complete flexibility and mobility in all directions. When a horse attempts to lean or fix against it, the mouthpiece collapses, preventing them from gaining any rigid contact and encouraging softer, lighter communication.

The Waterford mouthpiece helps to evenly distribute pressure across the tongue and bars of the mouth, avoiding concentrated pressure points. Combined with loose ring cheeks, this bit promotes freedom of movement and discourages horses from becoming heavy in the hand, making it especially useful for stronger or more forward-going horses.

For correct function and comfort, this bit should be fitted ¼" to ½" wider than a standard bit.
