The Mackey Liffey Dry Rug – Navy is a high-performance, lightweight multi-purpose rug designed to help your horse dry quickly and comfortably after washing. Made with stay-dry, moisture-wicking fabric, it draws moisture away from the coat to support fast drying and reduce chills—ideal after baths, hard work, or wet weather.
Versatile by design, the Liffey Dry Rug can also be used as a sweat rug, travel rug, or competition rug, making it a practical choice for everyday training and show days alike. In colder seasons, it can be layered under another rug to add warmth during transport without adding unnecessary bulk.
For maximum coverage, the rug includes a detachable high-neck, helping to keep the horse more fully covered during drying or travelling. A secure, stable fit is provided by the double front surcingle with hook-and-loop breast strap attachments, cross-over belly straps, and a fillet string strap.
