Why Choose the Bucas Therapy Quarter Sheet?
The Bucas Therapy Quarter Sheet combines specialist Recuptex Therapy fabric with the practical benefits of a waterproof riding exercise sheet.
Its weather-resistant outer helps protect the horse's back and hindquarters from rain and wind during ridden exercise, while the breathable construction helps manage moisture vapour.
The Dermo-Care lining, secure saddle attachments and reflective rear detailing make it a versatile choice for riders looking for a functional quarter sheet with additional comfort-focused features.
Bucas Recuptex Therapy Technology
The quarter sheet incorporates Bucas Recuptex Therapy fabric, containing an exceptionally fine stainless steel mesh.
This specialist material is designed to interact with the horse's naturally occurring electromagnetic fields. Bucas describes the technology as intended to support circulation and muscular comfort.
Unlike conventional magnetic therapy products, Recuptex does not rely on individual magnets positioned within the fabric.
The quarter sheet can be incorporated into warm-up and cool-down routines, although its therapeutic properties should not be regarded as a substitute for veterinary diagnosis or treatment.
Waterproof 600D Ripstop Outer
The Bucas Therapy Quarter Sheet features a durable 600 Denier ripstop outer fabric, designed to provide practical protection against wet weather.
With a waterproof rating exceeding 5,000mm hydrostatic head, the material offers resistance to rain and damp conditions.
The ripstop construction also helps resist the spread of small tears during normal use.
Breathable Construction
The quarter sheet offers a breathability rating exceeding 3,000g/24h/m², helping moisture vapour escape through the fabric.
This breathable construction is particularly useful during ridden exercise, when maintaining comfort beneath the sheet is important.
Dermo-Care Lining
The Bucas Dermo-Care lining provides a smooth surface against the horse's coat.
Designed with coat comfort in mind, the lining helps minimise friction while providing a soft contact surface beneath the sheet.
Secure Saddle Attachments
Practical hook-and-loop attachments allow the quarter sheet to be secured to the saddle, helping keep it correctly positioned during ridden exercise.
A rear fillet string provides additional stability while the horse is moving.
Always ensure the sheet is fitted securely without interfering with the saddle, stirrup leathers or rider's leg.
Reflective Rear Detailing
Reflective strips positioned at the rear improve the visibility of the quarter sheet in low-light conditions.
This makes them a useful additional feature during early morning or late afternoon riding, although reflective detailing should not replace appropriate high-visibility clothing or equipment.
Ideal for Warm-Up & Cool-Down Routines
The Bucas Therapy Quarter Sheet is designed for ridden use and is particularly suitable for:
Warming up before schooling or training
Cooling down following exercise
Riding in cooler or wet weather
Providing additional coverage over the back and hindquarters
Its practical design makes it a useful addition to an everyday riding wardrobe.
