The powder contains slow-release granules that can remain active for up to six weeks depending on conditions, offering long-lasting defence against lice infestations. Using sterilised maize as a carrier, it is gentle on the skin and will not metabolise via cuts or abrasions — unlike some mineral-based carriers that may cause irritation.
