Horse rugs: A good rug regulates body temperature and shields a horse from the elements. Turnout rugs are made from durable, waterproof yet breathable fabrics to keep horses warm and dry in the rain, wind and snow. Traditional canvas turnout rugs have a wool lining that wicks moisture and insulates against cold and heat. Stable rugs are worn indoors or in mild weather, providing warmth without the heavy waterproof outer. Fly rugs (fly sheets) use lightweight mesh or canvas to keep horses cool and protect against midges and insects; they’re recommended when temperatures exceed 25 °C. Summer sheets combine cotton and UV protection to prevent coat fading, while cooler or fleece rugs wick moisture after exercise and prevent chills. We offer turnout, stable, fly, summer and cooler rugs in sizes to fit everything from ponies to large horses, with options like detachable neck covers, ripstop fabrics and breathable linings.

Headcollars & leadropes: Choose from nylon, leather, breakaway or rope headcollars. Nylon headcollars are inexpensive and strong but won’t release under pressure; leather headcollars look smart and include breakaway straps that give way if a horse pulls back. Breakaway headcollars feature replaceable leather tabs for added safety. Rope halters apply pressure for groundwork but are not designed for tying unattended. Our lead ropes come in standard lengths of 9–10 ft; thicker ropes are stronger but harder to grip. Cotton ropes are soft, flexible and less likely to cause rope burns; they’re easy to splice and cut in emergencies. Synthetic ropes are weather‑resistant and strong but can cause burns and require metal clamps. We favour lead ropes with bull‑snap fittings because they are safer and less likely to accidentally open than trigger snaps.

Boots & bandages: Protect your horse’s legs with brushing boots or fetlock boots to prevent interference injuries during schooling and hacking. Tendon boots shield the front legs from hind‑hoof strikes during jumping, while over reach boots cover the hooves and pasterns to prevent overreaching injuries. Stable boots or stable bandages support the legs when stabled or travelling, and travel boots provide tall padded protection during transport. For rehabilitation and support, we stock therapeutic wraps and boots with magnets, ceramic fibres or gel inserts that help reduce inflammation and improve circulation.

Saddlecloths: A saddle cloth sits beneath the saddle to absorb sweat, cushion the saddle and protect the horse’s back. They are typically made from wool, cotton or synthetic fabrics and come in varying thicknesses; some are designed to be folded for double thickness, adding comfort and warmth. Saddle cloths can also help adjust a slightly ill‑fitting saddle and usually measure around 35 inches square. A numnah works like a saddle cloth but is shaped around the saddle; it fits snugly so only a small amount of material is visible. Numnahs are generally thicker, providing extra shock absorption and reducing back muscle fatigue.

Saddle pads & half pads: Our saddle pads feature interlocking girth systems reinforced with PU leather and shock‑absorbing layers for pressure distribution. The bamboo lining is breathable, moisture‑wicking and antibacterial Advanced designs use carbon mesh and blast foam to improve ventilation and shock absorption. Merino‑wool pads provide natural breathability and pressure distribution, while X‑Grip pads include anti‑slip panels for stability. Memory‑foam half pads mould to the horse’s back and utilise carbon mesh for airflow. We also stock Pro‑Sorbs and other adjustable half pads for fine‑tuning fit and comfort.

Therapy boots & rugs: Our therapeutic gear aids recovery and wellness. Magnetic and ceramic boots target the lower limbs and hooves, enhancing blood flow and reducing inflammation; they often include flexible inserts and reinforced Velcro for easy application. Ice boots and gel wraps provide cold therapy after exercise, while ceramic‑fibre wraps generate gentle warmth to promote circulation. Therapy rugs, including cooler and fleece rugs, wick sweat away from the horse’s coat to prevent chills and help muscles recover; breathable wool or technical fabrics maintain warmth while allowing moisture to evaporate.

Fly veils: A fly veil protects a horse’s ears and head from flies and midges and improves focus. By shielding sensitive areas from constant buzzing, fly veils keep horses calm and help them concentrate during training and competition. Some veils include padded or sound‑dampening ears, which soften ambient noise and are useful for noise‑sensitive horses. Fly veils also provide sun protection and are available in basic, ear‑bonnet and competition styles.

Fly masks: Fly masks protect the horse’s face, eyes and ears from insects, dust, debris and harmful UV rays. They help prevent eye infections and reduce irritation during summer; some include nose and neck covers for additional protection. We offer breathable mesh masks with secure double‑lock closures to ensure a comfortable fit and reliable protection.
